Why

Glasgow Service with Style is an Official Legacy Project for the 2014 Commonwealth Games.  We're also working towards preparing our city for the Olympic Games events taking place in Glasgow in 2012.

Our flagship customer service programme Glasgow Welcomes has been developed in partnership with local tourism businesses to ensure that we enhance the experience of all visitors to Glasgow, and create a city acclaimed for its high level of service excellence.

Our city-wide programme Glasgow Welcomes encourages participants to think about customer service in a new way. One that delivers fantastic experiences through its people.  Ultimately the workshops are dependent on action and every participant will leave with a set of actions that they will complete, to go from great service to even better.

The 1 day programme, Delivering Service Excellence, is aimed at staff & team members of all hospitality & tourism related businesses/organisations in Glasgow (download the course programme). Courses include lunch, refreshments & Glasgow Welcomes certificate and badge, and are offered at highly subsidised rates.

Glasgow Welcomes is the city's official programme endorsed by the Glasgow Tourism Strategy Group (Glasgow City Marketing Bureau, Glasgow City Council, Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, Scottish Enterprise, & VisitScotland).  This course is licensed as part of the Scottish Enterprise National Tourism Customer Service Programme (Delivering Service Excellence).
