Glasgow Welcomes: Train to be an In-house Trainer
| Why | Due to demand, we're offering an additional opportunity for qualified and experienced in-company trainers to join the prestigious Glasgow Welcomes In-House Trainer Network. With more than 30 members, this fast-growing group comprises many of the city's key hotels including Radisson blu, Blythswood Square, and Glasgow Marriott, along with Cordia and Glasgow Life. Arts organisations are also involved, including Glasgow Film Theatre. In-company trainers can be developed to deliver the 1 day Glasgow Welcomes - Delivering Service Excellence course to their own staff, in-house on a non-commercial basis. This offers a cost effective and flexible option for larger companies to cascade this city-wide customer service training to their front-line teams. With more than 10,000 tourism and hospitality staff across the city now committed to the Glasgow Welcomes programme, make sure your company is on board to reap the benefits of enhanced customer service! |

| Details | Taking the Customer Experience to a New Level... Glasgow Service with Style is an Official Legacy Project for the 2014 Commonwealth Games. We're also working towards preparing our city for the Olympic Games events taking place in Glasgow in 2012. Our flagship customer service programme Glasgow Welcomes has been developed in partnership with local tourism businesses to ensure that we enhance the experience of all visitors to Glasgow, and create a city acclaimed for its high level of service excellence. The Glasgow Welcomes Trainer Training Programme presents an opportunity to gain a licence to deliver the 1 day Delivering Service Excellence course to your own front-line staff in-house, helping to inspire them to deliver exceptional customer service, leading to increased motivation and ultimately, to increased sales. This highly subsidised training will be followed by ongoing support from the Glasgow Welcomes Training Facilitator, with regular networking/update sessions with fellow trainers throughout the city, to share best practice, hints & tips. All training materials are included in this cost effective option, with no further cost for delegate packs for your teams. Please note that this workshop is limited to 6 places, due to its participative nature. Glasgow Welcomes is the city's official programme endorsed by the Glasgow Tourism Strategy Group (Glasgow City Marketing Bureau, Glasgow City Council, Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, Scottish Enterprise, & VisitScotland). This course is licensed as part of the Scottish Enterprise National Tourism Customer Service Programme (Delivering Service Excellence).
