All welcome at GSWS One Year On event

Glasgow Service with Style is looking forward to celebrating a year of Glasgow Tourism Service Initiative success and achievements. On Tuesday June 14 a special One Year On Event will welcome a number of guest speaks – and also offer a fantastic opportunity for networking among business leaders and stakeholders.
The special evening, taking place from 6-8pm at Scottish Youth Theatre in the Merchant City, Glasgow, will highlight some of these key achievements of the GSWS initiative, including:
* More than 70 courses and events
* 340-plus businesses involved
* 1,500-plus individuals involved
* 35 Glasgow Welcomes Service Excellence courses
* 10,000 delegates committed to Glasgow Welcomes In-house training
* 4,000-plus visits to www.glasgowservicewithstyle.com  
The evening will also welcome a fantastic line-up speakers. Keynote speaker Amanda Hyndman, the general manager of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Washington D.C, is thrilled to be returning to Glasgow to share her experiences, career highlights and service standards. 
Amanda, a graduate of the Scottish Hotel School at Strathclyde University, started her career at the city's Copthorne Hotel and will give an insight into her experiences working at a range of top hotels across the world. Guests will also hear of her secrets of success in delivering excellent service at Mandarin Oriental, with practical hints and tips that are sure to be relevant to all.
Amanda will be joined by the Leader of Glasgow City Council, Gordon Matheson, and Scottish Enterprise's regional director Jill Farrell.  The event will be hosted by BBC radio and television broadcaster Janice Forsyth.
