Food safety conference comes to Glasgow

Catering managers, cooks, chefs and a range of people involved in food education, safety and training in Glasgow are being invited to a Food Safety and Nutrition conference.

The one-day event takes place in the city’s Royal Concert Hall on March 14 and will cover a wide range of important topics concerning safety and nutrition in catering environments.

A spokesperson for Medica CPD, the company organising the conference, said: “This one-day live event will welcome people from a broad spectrum, including catering managers, cooks, those involved in catering education, healthcare professionals with a remit for catering/food safety, nursing home  managers and staff, food safety professionals and trainers and other key opinion  formers working in this area.

“The conference aims to increase participants’ knowledge on food safety and nutrition, provide practical information and improve catering standards in  Scotland.”
