Free city attraction info sessions on offer to staff

One of the keys to boosting visitor experience and customer satisfaction during a visit to Glasgow is helpful and knowledgeable staff. A hotel guest or restaurant diner who asks for a recommendation about what there is to do in the city will be impressed by a member of staff who can offer an insider tip or xxxxx. 
Across the city many tourism and hospitality industry businesses are realising the huge benefits of an informed and knowledgeable staff. 
Glasgow Service with Style is keen to encourage tourism workers to become better informed about their city and has created a number of xxx.
Now a Glasgow Life Welcome Visits programme is encouraging workers within the tourism industry to come along to a range of free induction sessions at attractions such as museums, arts and music venues and sports centres.
The sessions last around 30 to 40 minutes and reveal what each venue has on offer. 
A spokesperson for Glasgow Life said: “The more staff in the tourism and hospitality industry know about our many visitor attractions the better the will become at passing on this information to visitors and customers. This will in turn enhance the experience for anyone visiting Glasgow.

Now a Glasgow Life Welcome Visits programme is encouraging workers within the tourism industry to come along to a range of free induction sessions at attractions such as museums, arts and music venues and sports centres.

The sessions last around 30 to 40 minutes and reveal what each venue has on offer. Staff at each venue are on hand to answer questions and to offer top tips about the attraction.
