Invest in your leaders for business success

Most businesses realise that good leaders are the key to success. Many studies have shown that businesses that are led by inspiring, visionary and motivating people will perform better – and become more profitable.

So it is important that employers invest in their staff and encourage them to become better leaders. This could apply to a restaurant manager, a head chef or a team leader within a visitor attraction. Really, any leaders within your business will benefit from focused training.

Now Scottish Enterprise has launched the Leadership Lab, which is dedicated to offering businesses a range of products and support to encourage them to consider leadership as a tool for growth.

Part of the Knowledge Series 3: Leadership for Growth,  the Leadership Lab shows businesses how to develop leadership capabilities. Businesses will also find out how to gain the confidence to create innovative strategies and make bolder business decisions.

Packed with tips, tools and first-hand accounts in the form of company interviews, case studies and films, Scottish firms tell other businesses how they have grown through developing leadership and how leadership can be used by businesses to become more strategic and focused.
