Tourism Intelligence Scotland launches new networking opportunities
Tourism and hospitality businesses are set to benefit from two new networking tools, which have been launched by Tourism Intelligence Scotland.
The new tools on social media platforms, Twitter and LinkedIn, will allow businesses, leaders, managers and staff to become more involved in discussions about tourism – and also offer a greater and more accessible opportunity to ask questions, increase insight and hear about new resources.
Tourism Intelligence Scotland, which has been developed by the industry in association with Scottish Enterprise, Highlands & Islands Enterprise and VisitScotland, aims to help tourism businesses to understand and use the range of market and product intelligence that is available, and to collectively share insights and information gathered from the feedback of visitors and tourists.
Yesterday, Stella Callaghan, the project manager at Glasgow Tourism Service Initiative, said: “We are delighted that TIS plans to make good use of the social media platforms to spread the word a bout tourism ideas and resources.”
