Tee off for a fantastic charity golf day

26 Jul 2011

Corporate and business teams are being invited to take in a fun Charity Golf Day at the famous Carrick on Loch Lomond. The special golf event is set to raise vital funds for Springboard Scotland and will take place on October 10.

Eighteen teams of business people will have the chance to play a round on 18 holes of the 71-par course, which is owned by De Vere Cameron House Resort, and uses every inch of the majestic Loch Lomond backdrop to its advantage.

Whether you’re a golf newbie, or an experienced player with a handicap to die for, the Carrick is the perfect location for a round or two. The Championship Carrick was designed by Doug Carrick, with the 18 holes divided by a fault line: the first nine holes are located in the Lowlands, while the back nine holes are situated in the Highlands.

The entry price for a four-ball team is an amazing £199 (plus VAT). The price includes morning refreshments upon arrival, 18 holes of fantastic golf and mouth-watering food when participants return to the clubhouse.

In addition to testing out their handicaps, golfers will have the opportunity to test their luck in Springboard Scotland’s charity raffle and silent auction. There will also be the opportunity to  win a range of prizes throughout the day for best team score and individual score.

Proceeds from the Charity Golf Day will help to support the important work carried out by Springboard Scotland, which works to assist young, unemployed and disadvantaged people to find fulfilling work within Scotland's vibrant hospitality, leisure and tourism industry. Spaces are limited to 18 teams and these Golf days have proven to be consistently popular so book now to avoid disappointment.
