Trio’s 400 mile Springboard ride

While the trip reported that it was a tough challenge, both mentally and physically, they are delighted with their efforts and have so far raised almost £3,500 for Springboard.

Anne Pierce, the chief executive of Springboard, was part of a team of fundraisers who recently completed a gruelling 400 mile bike ride from Paris to Peterborough. Along with Chris Birch and Andy Clarke, from Hobart UK, Anne took part in the charity Hobart P2P 4 Springboard cycle ride, to coincide with the opening of Hobart's new UK office.

The fund raising ride, which started out on August 31, aimed to raise vital funds required to assist the charity. Springboard is instrumental in helping unemployed and underprivileged young people, enabling them to access innovative development programmes and helping them on the way to a more prosperous future.
